FTP Client Professional App Reviews

Bare-bones UI, but it works well

Its a very bare bones FTP Client (even for anonymous connection you have to enter anonymous as a user name and a bogus password) that essentially just implements basic up/download functionality, but for the price of a dollar it works well. Id love to see the FTP Messages as well (The OS X Debug Console shows some limited information but not the full FTP exchange) but as a simple up/download tool its working fine.

Does not work well!

not worth the 99 cents. Slow to login ,,,slow to expose folders and hangs if you try to enter into a folder.

It works, needs improvement.

It crashes if I try to upload a file after having been inactive for 10 minutes or so. Also, it doesnt save login information, so you have to reenter it every time.

You get what you pay for...

The app works really well but is missing some key functionality that other FTP clients provide. You cannot move whole folders via upload/download, it doesnt save any of your FTP information (in the event that you have multiple hosts). For quick file moves it is ok, but I recommend something much more robust if you have a lot of data to move via FTP.

It is what it is… a VERY simple FTP client

Im glad that theres a $.99 FTP client in the store. For some reason my fancy client, Transmit, was completely choking on a handful of files for no reason that I can figure out. I spent the buck and was able to upload the files with this simple client. Thanks!

Minimum features lacking

I bought this to expediate my work by drag and dropping folders and removing folders from the FTP site. None were supported. Otherwise, I can happily use my terminal to do what this app is doing.

FTP Client does not work with Macbook Lion OS

Cant say more than whats in the title … it just doesnt work with Lion OS.

so far

So far it does not work for me either. Apple really needs to come out with something that works.

Doesnt Work!

Was able to log into FTP, but was unable to display library and gave error message. Tried to upload to general directory, but upload failed 100% of the time. Bit the bullet and bought Cyberduck. Lost $3.99 on this one. Going to remove and delete.

Works great!

I recently did not rate this product well due to it not working after the update. Now it works great and I have no problems with it!

Worthless

Cannot connect to the simplest of servers. No ability to denote the path, Useless.

Does the Job

This tool does exactly what I need it to do. Allows me to easily upload documents quickly. I would like it to show me when the upload is complete. I had to figure out that when the bar reaches the end its done. Otherwise, its great for what I need it to do!

app doesnt work for me

none of my files show up, running mountain lion on a mac book pro. Downloaded yummy ftp lite and it works great.

Nice simple Interface BUT not functioning…

I installing and it will not upload anything to my FTP. I can log in and edit folders but wehn i choose to upload a file it starts the progress bar but refuses to load anything. Progress bar does not update. Am i missing something?

Awful!!!

Doesnt open files! Waste of $3.

Works just fine.

If you know how ftp sites work and understand files and directories, this utility will work for you.

FTP Client

Very cool and easy to use, but a bit confusing with the upload and download, but for the price it is worth it. Not a big fan of the layout, it should have a 2 panel layout but….it works.

Nice and simple

This app is nice and simple. Works great and the price was awesome.

Displeased

not user friendly, unable to make it work, no instructions

Save your $$$!

Have no idea how to set this thing up. It has no instructions. Cant use it, dont know if it even works. Waste of $5.99.
